One particularly memorable experience was attending Mr. Mulroney’s Christmas party where his warm spirit and charisma captivated everyone present. The highlight of the evening was undoubtedly when he serenaded us with “When Irish Eyes are Smiling” — a performance reminiscent of the time he charmed U.S. President Ronald Reagan with the same song at the White House on St. Patrick’s Day in 1985. Truly, Mr. Mulroney’s charm knew no bounds.
His tenure as Prime Minister, marked by two consecutive conservative majorities, stands as a testament and commitment to advancing the interests of Canadians. His contributions to our nation, both domestically and on a global stage, will forever be remembered and celebrated.
